Fighting The Pandemic With Innovation
The coronavirus pandemic has disrupted peoples lives and daily routines across the world. With redundancies, furloughs and forced closures of businesses and schools, many people and Company's are struggling or at the very least are uncertain about where they will stand in a weeks time, let alone in 3 months time! Change is hard, especially when thrust upon us so suddenly at such large-scale.
Innovation leads the way right now.
> Companies such as Dyson are working round the clock to manufacture ventilators for patients, with a new batch coming into UK hospitals next week
> Many perfume companies have converted their factories to manufacture and supply hand sanitiser for hospitals - for free.
> Companies and their staff are creating home working solutions to enable parents to continue working and earning whilst caring for their kids. > Supermarkets have adapted their stores to allow customers to shop more safely, and have implemented special opening hours to prioritise the elderly and NHS workers.
> Cafes and restaurants have switched from eat-in locations to food delivery services overnight, including our local Cafe Marina UK @burratapizzaco who are keeping the people of Portishead nourished from the safety and comfort of their own homes.
No doubt these measures will help "flatten the curve", save lives, and speed up our economic recovery.
Our processes have been altered but out value propositions remain the same. We've adapted our current operations to continue serving our customers as best we can under such drastically different circumstances. We've closed the shop but are still operating via a drop-off/collection & return service and mail-in service, which can all be booked through our website.
