Upgrading from an iPhone 11 to an iPhone 12

by George Lovell | | 0 comments

The iPhone 12 is a staple in our cabinets these days.

Considering an upgrade? Here's the main differences between the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12:

> Despite being the same size, the iPhone 12 feels very different in your hand. This is due to the flat sides and squared edges, which is reminiscent of the iPhone 4 - in a good way.

> The 12 is the first iPhone with 5G connectivity.

> The 11 uses an LCD screen. The 12 uses an OLED screen. OLED is a newer, more advanced technology which offers superior quality and performance to LCD. OLED screens have better contrast, higher brightness, fuller viewing angle, wider colour range and faster refresh rates.

> The 12 series contains Apple's A14 bionic processor, which offers superior CPU and GPU performance to the A13 in the 11. This results in consistently smooth running of demanding processes such as gaming and video rendering apps.

> A slightly improved camera.
