Computer Clean Up & Health Check
Increase performance, remove clutter and decrease the likelihood of serious faults occurring. Getting a clean up and health check every 12-18 months to keep your device running at its best and extend its life.

Here's what we do:

Internal & external clean - cleaning internal components and fans. These get clogged up with dust which will reduce performance. We also clean the outside of the computer.

Internal Inspection - checking for loose connections, liquid damage etc.

Hardware check: RAM, CPU, Hard-drive etc.

Disk Clean-up - Removing unnecessary programs and residual data and files which build up over time. This will free up storage.

Defrag (HDD) or Optimize (SSD) Disk - physically reorganising data, files and empty space into the most efficient format.

Start-up optimisation - we can configure the start-up process to prevent unnecessary apps and programs from starting automatically, as these can slow the computer down.

Download and install updates for the operating system, programs and drivers. Updates implement improvements, provide security patches and remove bugs.

Run a virus and malware check, and remove any malicious software found.

Install antivirus software. Most antivirus programs and protocols cause more harm than good. We use an extremely effective chain of programs that are optimised specifically for your device, which will eliminate threats whilst running smoothly in the background.

Browser optimisation - Clearing history, cache and cookies, and blocking unwanted pop ups.
From here, you'll receive a report outlining what we've done and we'll make specific recommendations on what you can do to keep your computer running smoothly. We'll also advise if any parts need replacing or upgrading, or if any further work is required.
