Testing, Condition & Grading

We take every step to ensure that all of our products are reliable and ready to go.

We have a dedicated team who invest a great deal of time and care into sourcing the highest quality products. We use reputable, approved suppliers to source products that we are confident will meet our standards, and our customers needs.

Our technicians rigorously test and inspect every device individually using a comprehensive testing checklist to ensure full functionality. 

Our in-house technicians will carry out any repairs or refurbishing processes as required.

We measure the battery capacity, and replace it if required, based on the following criteria: 

Replace Before Sale:
iPhone 5S > 8: 89% or below
iPhone X: 87% or below
iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, 11, SE (2020): 83% or below
iPad: 80% or below

Replace Within 6-month Warranty:
iPhone: 80% or below, or failing to last all day
iPad: 75% or below, or failing to last all day

All devices are erased and reset to factory settings.

We then place the device into either of the following categories:

Refurbished Very Good
The device shows little or no sign of use or cosmetic wear. There are no chips or dents. There are no missing parts and the frame is not bent. There are no cracks or indication of physical damage or liquid damage. The device has been internally inspected, thoroughly tested, and is in full working order.

Refurbished Good
The device shows some signs of use or cosmetic wear. There may be some light scratches; on the screen, back or housing. There are no missing parts and the frame is not bent. There are no cracks or indication of physical damage or liquid damage. The device has been internally inspected, thoroughly tested, and is in full working order.

The category assigned to each device is based on cosmetic condition, and does not indicate or reflect any difference in performance or functionality.

The difference in condition is reflected in the price, so that all options are good value.
